Bystander, born from personal encounters with hate crimes and a growing awareness of rising incidents against sexual orientation and gender identity in London, Suffolk and Norfolk, is a dynamic research and movement project. Bystander seeks to reconfigure the audience's understanding of queer bodies and collective responsibility, urging the public to relearn the role of the active bystander.
